Value GiantsValue investors’ 13F holdings, as a whole
Q2 2026 13FData as of Aug 18, 2026

Disclaimer &Amp; Data Notice

This site turns public filings into statistics and charts so you can see what value investors are doing as a group. It is not investment advice, and it is not guaranteed to be correct.

1. Not Investment Advice

  • Everything on this site (numbers, charts, rankings, text) is general information and a statement of facts from filings. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, and it does not take your finances, goals or risk tolerance into account.
  • This site is not an investment adviser, broker or any licensed financial institution; it gives no individual advice and does not answer “should I buy” questions.
  • Investing carries risk, including the loss of all of your money. Make your own decisions, and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

2. Where the Data Comes From

  • Holdings: public Form 13F filings on the SEC’s EDGAR system.
  • Tickers and company names: matched from security codes (the public OpenFIGI service and the SEC’s list of company tickers); sectors follow each company’s Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code registered with the SEC.
  • Prices: 13F quarter-end value ÷ shares (the quarter-end price), not live or daily prices.
  • Outside figures in the features (S&P Dow Jones Indices SPIVA reports, Morningstar, DALBAR, Berkshire Hathaway shareholder letters, academic papers) are cited with source and period where they are used.

3. Processed by Program; Errors Are Possible

  • The data is downloaded, parsed and calculated by program and is not checked line by line by a person. Filings themselves can contain errors (wrong units, omissions, later amendments), and parsing can go wrong, especially for the plain-text filings of 1999–2013.
  • We fix the problems we find (see Method and data), but cannot guarantee that the data is complete, correct or up to date.
  • The SEC itself notes that its 13F data sets are provided as filed, without cleaning, and that its ticker list is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. This site’s figures are likewise no substitute for the original filings.
  • Before relying on anything, check the original SEC filing; every giant’s page links to it.

4. Many Figures Are Estimates

Trade prices, trade values, average cost, vs cost, returns and turnover are estimated from quarter-start and quarter-end prices and are marked “est.”. A 13F does not disclose when or at what price trades happened, and the real figures may differ a lot.

5. What a 13F Cannot Show

  • Only long positions in US-listed stocks (and some ETFs, convertibles and options); short positions, cash, bonds, shares that trade only on foreign exchanges, private companies and other assets are not shown, so this is nobody’s complete portfolio.
  • A filing is a snapshot of the last day of the quarter; trades during the quarter are not visible.
  • Managers can ask to keep some holdings confidential for up to a year, so some positions appear late or never.
  • Filings are due 45 days after the quarter ends: by the time you see them, a giant may already have changed its holdings.
  • Amendments can change published figures after the fact.

6. Past Statistics Do Not Predict the Future

  • The long-run comparisons in the features are historical statistics: price only, without dividends or fees; the roster is chosen today with hindsight, so there is survivorship bias, stronger the further back you go.
  • These results cannot be copied in practice (13F filings are delayed) and say nothing about future results.
  • The site does not calculate or rank the performance of any individual giant, and offers no “follow the giants” back-tests.

7. No Warranty, No Liability

The site is provided as is, with no warranty that its content is correct, complete, current or fit for any purpose. Any decision you make using it, and its consequences, are your own responsibility; the site and its author accept no liability for any direct or indirect loss from using, or being unable to use, the site.

8. Names Are Not Endorsements

  • Investors, firms and companies are named only to state facts from public filings; this is not a recommendation and implies no relationship with this site. These investors have not taken part in, reviewed or approved this site.
  • “Value giants” is a roster selected by this site’s public rules, not a judgement of anyone.
  • Names and trademarks belong to their owners.

9. No Payment of Any Kind

The site carries no advertising, takes no sponsorship, has no paid content or memberships, uses no referral or affiliate links, and receives no payment for mentioning any company, fund or investor.

10. Quotations and Sources

Quotations from others are kept short and credited; figures come with their source and period. If you hold rights in any content and see a problem, please write to us and we will deal with it promptly.

11. Corrections and Contact

If you find an error, please write to cylab.contact@gmail.com with the page and what you saw. Confirmed errors are corrected, and significant corrections are noted on the page.
